Beveryly Hills is to America as Kwoloon Tong is to Hong Kong

I used to hate those questions on my SAT practice tests at Lanphry's (lol) But the title seems quite fitting for this post. I live in Kowloon Tong and its crazy. To give you a bit of geography Hong Kong is made up of two large islands Hong Kong Island and Lantau Island and the New Territories. Most of the city is situated on the island with the surrounding area serving as the suburbs, if you will. Well, I happen to live in one of these suburbs at the student residence which is beautiful. I think its just by chance that the school is here but when they decided to make dorms, which they call halls, they must have realized the real estate potential. Our high rises look out on a beautiful view of the city and other nearby neighborhoods. Situated right next to us is a beautiful apartment building with car service and the works really one of the nicest Ive seen in HK. And the Mall is incredible. 7 stories of glory home to everything you can think of short of a hardware store. 20 restaurants a supermarket 4 electronic stores and 2 H&Ms, Polos, and I.T.s. Its really great not to mention that I was not expecting it at all. We are really lucky and on a clear night we can see the lights from the city. Everyday on my walk to class I marvel at the glass name plate of the adjacent apartment building and the waterfall built to flash the prominent MOUNT BEACON sign. Finally, and the reason I thought to write this blog anywho, the CARS. Every where I look I see a nicer car then the next. Now the average car in these parts is nothing short of a high end Aercedes, Beemer, Jag or Lexus. As they become rarer in order The Porche, Bentley, Rolls, Maz, Ferrari, and Lambo. Each one I see I cant take my eyes off of them and they are so beautiful and plentiful. What can I say ladies Im a happy man in car heaven with little to complain about. Sorry again its been a while since my last post, Im soo busy I dont even have time to type. Chow for now.(it rhymes, niiice..I like)

  1. you're a poet and don't even know it (it rhymes too!) Too bad you aren't driving any of those cars (or owning them yet - maybe it's your destinity in the future.

The sights of HK sound great, and the geography lesson was much appreciated (maybe you really liked those SAT preparations - now it's Zach's turn).

Just remember busy is better than bored....keep on blogging!!
